Franki Goodwin is a multi-disciplinary designer and digital consultant to the entertainment industry. Since 2001 she has worked on campaigns for the UK’s leading Distributers, Financiers, Sales Agents, Cinemas and (most creatively, and crucially, in her opinion) directly with independent productions. Her work covers movie posters, titles, film websites, immersive digital concepts, social media concepts and strategy, branding and user interface.
Her film campaigns have earned her a BAFTA Interactive award, numerous FWA Sites of the Day, Adobe Sites of the Day and IAB Creative Showcase Awards. Her work has been featured in the D&AD Annual (with one Silver Nomination) as well as numerous design and technical publications. Two of her movie sites were featured in the best selling Taschen book ‘Guidelines for Online Success’.
She has contributed to panels and lecture series’ for The D&AD Education Resource, The Royal Television Society, The London Film Festival, Film London, Screen Training Ireland and EAVE covering subjects such as digital marketing, online distribution and branding. She is a visiting lecturer at Glasgow School of Art and The Parsons School of Design, Paris.
As Assets Producer at Western Edge she is focusing her pioneering film campaign work into a new production role that allows her involvement over the life-span of a film to create powerful digital marketing tools that extend the world of the film and generate the largest possible following for each title.
