Adam Robertson is an actor and Associate Producer at Western Edge Pictures. Having graduated from the Drama Centre London, he went on to star in “Taggart (The Movie)”, “Back Up” for the BBC, ”Harry” for STV and Wire in the Blood for ITV. Having always been an entrepreneur he ran several successful businesses before returning to the entertainment industry where he helped to establish E-media-C Plc - an innovative website and production tool for film and television.
In 2003 he began producing for the stage. His theatre work to date includes acclaimed productions of “Auction of Promises” for The Etc Theatre in London and “The Killing Floor” for Big Space Productions at The Bridewell.
In 2008 he co-founded Western Edge Pictures with Vaughan Sivell. On their first feature “Third Star” he was Associate Producer and starred as ‘Bill’ for which he was awarded a Trailblazer Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh International Film Festival (for which “Third Star” was the closing night Gala film). Adam is based in Wales and is developing a number of feature scripts with Western Edge alongside his current lead role in “River City” for BBC Scotland.
